[RC] Cold Backed Horse - Val Nicoson

During Late Fall/Early Winter when the temp drops into
the 40s or below my horse gets sensitive on her back.
She has an "attitude" regarding any kind of grooming,
cinching, etc. Have noticed that this is a normal
thing for her every fall/winter as she doesn't act
like this during the warmer months. Yes, she has a
nice winter coat.
So what do the rest of you do who have horses that
have this same tendency? Do you not groom or ride as
often? Ignore the attitude or what?
Just curious,
Val
