Four years ago I bred him to my Foxtrotter mare and got a wonderful gaited colt. He has great gaits including a wonderful extended trot that is easy to sit. He's competed in one LD so far and is a pleasure to ride. < Dawna, I read/post via the archives so I can't see email addresses. Can you email me privately? I'm curious who your stallion is, and would love to see him. My stallion is also of that breeding (he's by BRR Aurber Light's sire, whose dam is RT Muffin's dam -- he and Heidi's Aur Bold Tribute are the only known intact sons of Aurlani Farwa; my stallion is the sire of Dawn's gelding <g>). Anyway, several of my horses display both a "power walk" and some sort of *something* extra going down hill, including this stallion. <g> I had written out a long post the other day replying to several of the ongoing threads about downhill horses, gaited Arabians, and breeding, but it got gobbled in a happy-trigger-finger incident and I was too lazy to rewrite it. Oh well.
