Re: [RC] [AERCMembersForum] 100 mile rides 50 & 25,30,40 etc. - hope lundquist

To Chris Paus from Hope Lundquist

My goodness Chris you are doing ENDURANCE!  Just because someone else say your not does not make it so. Our Founders had many such sanctioned Endurance rides up thru February 1977. Eighteen such rides were sanctioned ENDURANCE  RIDES in th February issuse of Saddle Action which was printing our news at that time.A closed door Board of Directors meeting in Las Vegas changed that. There were two dissenting votes. There was no dialogue with the Membership or forewarning to the Membership. Very Illegal in my estimation. Who came up with the demeaning label "Limited Distance}? We need to re-united our Membership and make it stronger. We all pay dues to the American ENDURANCE RIDE Conference. If it is sanctioned by them  it is an ENDURANCE RIDE.
