[RC] Land near NE Ala. NW Ga. ;near trails wanted - Laurie Durgin

We are actually seriously want to move to more pasture, as near as posssilbe to trails. Out of METRO Husband wants access to an interstate(59,75, 120) within 20-30 minutes. If anyone knows of land fairly near a trail system up there, for sale , please contact me.
What I'd like is 10 acres of useable pasture , more is ok ,if price is right. I do like the mountains,accessible to powerline easement is a plus(I have ridden these before). In the Chattanooga,Huntsville, Atlanta triangle.think 120 west into Alabama, and northeast of that up to Chattanooga.Or west of 75 (east is too expensive and growing to fast and too $$$ towards Elijay-Gainsville.)
Just grew too fast here, and the 600-800,000$ houses are coming our way, with the escalation in property value and taxation--too many cars,trails being bulldozed--too many stores and I don't do middleclass suburbia--- I want to see the stars again--I can deal with coyotes , bears, possums(shoot the suckers...) And my truck is old enough to fit in....And am used to driving 45 minutes to 2 hours to go anywhere, its is just at a crawl with 9 million stop lights, as opposed to 65 mph on backroads and interstates.
Maybe near Talldeaga? or parts north--Or North or west of Rome?Or south or west of Chickamauga. Wouldn't I love property ajacent to trails....
If you know of someone who might be willing to subdivide a parcel or something. Or a farmer who is selling out, etc. The most annoying thing we do is the terriers bark or the donkey brays. We can build we found thru AmericasHomplace a reasonable house in those areas, and I can fence.
