Your post and the one that gives the shiek's e-mail address are what RideCamp is good for.
While US riders boycotting the events would at least call international attention to the issue, it would probably not even embarrass the perpetrators, let alone change their minds, and it would definitely hurt our individual riders.
But I do find myself wondering why these shieks treat their horses and horse jockeys and their camels OK, but not the camel jockeys. I guess they have a negative (prejudice/disrespect) against the nationality of the boys? (Because, with all their money, it's not like they couldn't pay legitimate lightweight riders). Why the camel-jockey sport and not the horse sport or any other? And why do they feel they NEED to do this? What is the core motivation? (I don't expect an answer, just trying to understand the issue).
