[RC] to Alice - Alice Yovich

I have just gotten a new pad that is double thick in front, but I haven't used it yet. In the past, I just rode in a plain, wool pad and then used hand towels to shim along the tree and give it all a little lift. It never shifted at all, but it always left me with a dry spot at the point of bridging. I'm hoping that with the lift pad, it will help me shimming situation, but I won't know till I try.
