[RC] leg wraps - Alice Yovich

In NATRC you can't wrap the legs, but you can have the horses soak their lower legs in a bucket of ice water. How long is good to reduce heat and fill? My mare has never had any heat or soreness in her legs, but after our last ride the vet said she had heat in one leg on Sat. and then sore suspensory in the other leg the next day. I'm not convinced of either, but I'm honestly not sure how to check for it, or what to do to help it within the natrc rules other than a bucket of cold water.
