[RC] Nationals - mrsd

As one of those pulled /rider option at the NC100 I find it interesting to try
and understand what befel  my funny old horse.  He has completed 11 l00's and
this includes 4 Tevis completions in a row.  1999 NC 100  1st.MW Tie and 2003
NC dead last but in great shape.   

He was very excited at the start  and was attempting to run away.  I was able to
hold him but then he started to buck and did so for considerably  in excess of
the 8 second rule.  Finally got him to quit then tried to rate him with some
success.  Ended up pulling at 34 miles as he wasn't right.  

Do I know this horse?   Approx. 2500 miles.   Has been my companion for 14
years.  He is 19 and I was celebrating my 74th birthday.   He spooks, bucks,
runs away and use to bolt.  Usually works well after 20 to 25 miles.  

What do I do for his next ride??????

He is still very sound and his legs are very clean.
