Re: [RC] way of going at canter - rides2farAfter we have been in the canter mode for sometime he will drop his head and do the peanut roller thing...can anyone give me some insight into this? My first horse did that when his back hurt, I was told he might be trying to stretch the sore muscles. He'd drop his nose and look like a coon dog going down the trail. I was riding him in a jumping saddle. Got an Ortho-Flex and he quit. Just something to check.
