Re: [RC] [RC]   Myler combination bit - DaNel Resha

I used to use one on a Quarter Pony that I had.  She was a barrel horse and competed really well against the full sized horses.  Her one problem was stopping.  When I put that bit on it was like getting cruise control.

I used to trail ride this horse because she had the best gait.  Without the combo bit there was no stopping her.  I highly recommend them for horses that want to run all of the time.

I have a Myler combo bit with a rubber noseband that had to be special ordered. Alpine (king of the I've got to be first, drag your arms off horse) goes beautifully in it. He doesn't pull, rates well, will go on a loose rein in the back or middle of the group, etc. I LOVE it. He eats just fine with the bit, and the hack part gives me the control I need when I need it. It was definatly money well spent.

Juli and Alpine (love that myler bit..)
