[RC] Zayante and spooking - Michael Maul

In response to several post on Zayante and spooking -"Subject: RE: [RC] (RC) Spooking-Yes, Zayante spooks" - I've ridden him for 60 miles or so on the Tevis trail and never seen a spook during the whole time.

He took excellent care of himself - such as picking the best footing for himself when I was jogging into the vet checks with him. Usually I get to pick the best spots for me to run but he took them right over... :-)

He was truly one of the best horses I've ridden even if only for a short 60 miles. On a scale of 1-10 for spooking - he was a 1-2 for me even on narrow winding trail. I've ridden a few 8's and appreciated the difference.

Certainly Julie has much more experience with him than I do but he was excellent for me...

Mike
