Re: [RC] Horse sense - heidi

I thought that this story was going to be one about athe motorist being
stranded and not wanting to leave his horse that was in the trailer. I
have heard a story to this effect. A truck broke down on one of our MT
mountain roads. The driver walked 10 miles to the trail head to get his
friends to help with the truck. His horses and pack mules were in the
trailer!

Hey, I almost did something like that once... My ex-husband's truck broke
down on me out in the middle of nowhere as I was putting up last-minute
signs on an endurance trail. I was so bloomin' mad at the truck for
stranding me out there at such an inopportune time that I had walked
nearly a quarter of a mile before it dawned on me that the ATV was in the
back! <g>
