I'm a firm believer that each horse has something to
teach us, and that one taught me to learn the basics
of horse training and not rely on gadgets.

If the horse has an issue, then work on the issue,
don't just tack on more hardware.

yeah tell me - not only do they NOT stop a committed
rearer, they can  
contribute to them going over backward, since it is
hard to re-balance with  one's 
head strapped down.
