It's not the dead bodies ,it's the dead bodies with a lack of air in the decomposition.. Tightly bound hay with no air...

Gads, I have been finding "dead bodies" in my hay bin for YEARS!
Everything from little parts, to whole "things". They are always
dried up. I would like to know more about the danger involved. It
is only in the hay. The thought of microscopicly sorting each piece
of hay, is just not an attractive option. It would take forever. If I "catch" a dead body in a leaf, I dispose of that
leaf, but they seem to most often be buryed deep inside the leaf.
I keep waiting to find a human hand or finger...blick! Luckily
the critter bodies only show up rarely.
