[RC] [RC] Farriers woes and barefoot - Deanna German

Laurie wrote:
The circulation thing bothers me. I touch their unshod hooves and they are
warm, but the shod hooves are cold, makes me wonder what is going on.

Makes me wonder too, because the temperature of my horse's hooves don't feel
any different whether she's shod or not. (They always feel warm.)

I wonder if it has to do with the way the horse is shod. Or maybe in the
winter, the metal conducts the cold. (I yank shoes in October or November,
so I've never compared winter shod feet to non-shod.)

So sorry to read that you're having farrier woes. Been there!

Deanna
