Socks and////Re: [RC] [RC] Boa Boots - website - Laurie Durgin

Leather is probably to protect from rubbing. It stretches and breathes. Look at , can't think of the term, drat, need more coffee, or pre 40's brain. Splint boots!!! ,hunter/jumper/eventers use. They are often leather with fleece even, to protect from impact and rubbing.
Maybe you need a "fleece slock" with those boots?????? Laurie

Interesting.....with all the high tech materials out there now, they use
LEATHER? Strange....would have expected some type of "weatherproof"
material for the uppers.

I can't imagine them surviving very long down here in the SE rain, bogs,
mud, sand, heat, and humidity. Hmmm...at $140 a pair, think I will stick
with my easyboots for now. :)
