[RC] Field Trialers and Tucker saddles - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

 Here are a few observations from a field trialer re Tucker saddles.As you may
know,the Tucker trooper saddle,sold mainly to field trial people,put Tucker on
the map,although nowadays the trooper is now only a small part of a their huge
business.Tucker saddles are extremely sturdy in their construction.Re comfort
and design,many people like them and many people do not.I am one of those who
do not.In MY opinion,every model they make places the rider too far above the
horse and has far too much unneccesary stuff under the leg.I would by all means
choose the English rigging on either of the 2 Endurance models.The western
rigging hangs and snags the stirrup leather with every step.If you are a person
who posts,the ride height issue may not be a problem.
