If they had to figure all that out to get one I can now understand why they want so much for the things. :-P Oh, no, you don't have to figure all that out to get one--sometimes they just happen. :-) And then people scratch their heads and wonder where the heck THAT color came from... A good horse is never a bad color...but I'd prefer they weren't strawberry roans with that white splash on the belly. That said I've now marked myself for finding an incredible athlete that exact color. I hope that one's complicated enough on paper to lower my odds. I agree, and my luck is kind of similar. I've always said that about a good horse never being a bad color, and I've also added that I've never had a white spot speed one up or slow one down. I personally happen to like what I call "conservative bays in business suits"--and guess what, about 20% of my herd has sabino markings (some of 'em pretty pronounced)! <sigh> Oh, well--some folks really like all that chrome, and I bear with it if it is on what is otherwise the right horse...
