Keep the clothes you're going to wear in the sleeping bag.


Good point <g>. I usually put my ride clothes on the night before.


Another really big help in staying warm: wear a wool or polarfleece watch cap. We lose a tremendous amount of heat through our skulls. Those stocking caps our colonial ancestors wore to bed weren't a fashion statement -- they were necessary for coping with houses without central heat!
