my arab does this when he's pissed and I'm holding him back. he snaps his teeth like a small fierce bay alligator coming down the trail! It's the funniest thing. Lips bared and teeth a snappin'. I've never tried to correct this habit, I figure he's not a show horse anyway and it's not hurting anyone. There are worse habits!!! And it's always a topic of conversation! BTW he's a Bask grandson! Also very hot but totally controllable if you can act more fierce than him. Big strong feet and legs, super sensitive skin!
