I'm not Jonni, but it is a federal law for trailers over 80" wide and 10,000# GVWR.

Jonni- Are you referring to a Federal law or a state law? My trailer which I bought new in 2001 for the XP is over 10,000 axle rating, and it DID NOT come with the reflective tape on it. Please clarify. Karen Nelson
