[RC] Breed information - Michael Maul

In response to two posts:
"in light of recent discussion regarding other breeds of horses in endurance, how can we get breed information posted on the horse history section of the ride results page (aerc site). all of the breed info/description is turned in when the horse is signed up and is assigned an aerc number."

*****Breed information isn't in the horse history but is available in the lookup section at

http://www.doublejoy.com/erol/aerc/lookup/lookup.asp

where you can enter one word from a horses name or it's aerc # or even a part of it's aerc number.

Output is of the form

This Horse
6161 Prolask (Abba) Arab Grey Gelding

**********************

Boy howdy, I'd sure second that request, Ed! Unless the horse is a purebred Arab and has the link to AHA, there is no other indication of breed on there. I'd also sure like to see the age and sex listed.

**** We will soon have the links to all the AHA part bred information so there will be more available.

We don't have any link that will give you the age or DOB for a horse. A number of horses listed with AERC don't have a DOB. Sex can come from the lookup link above.

I'll add the request to show DOB and sex to the horse history to our list of things to be done.****************

The information on breeds competing is at

http://www.aerc.org/membership_breeds.asp

we update it at the end of the ride season.

Mike
