[RC] question about kimberwick, mylar, and tom thumb bits - Ed Kilpatrick

it sounds like your horse is working well with the mylar snaffle and that the only problem you had is with the bolting/feeling somewhat out of control.   you can fix that by teaching your horse one rein stops, rather than by changing bits.  the one rein stop will enable you to teach your horse speed control.  you say the horse is soft and light and that is good, but add the one rein stop as an excercise and you will be amazed at the difference.
