[RC] Mare with sidebone - Bob & Dorothy Foster

Well, even though I didn't get a consensus about the dangers of sidebone, I discovered a lot of people who were willing to share their stories, suggestions, and information, and I want to thank all of you! Some people told me that if I was buying a horse for endurance, I should not buy her, but you know what, I did it anyway!

I also had a lot of people who told me wonderful stories about horses that had sidebone and were sound through all kinds of activities including endurance. I got to thinking about how uncertain life is in general, and it occured to me that I could buy "the perfect horse" and he could trip, fall, and break a leg the day after I bought him. Life is a gamble anyway, and I would rather spend it with a horse that I love than a "perfect" horse that I don't get along with. Wish me luck!
