[RC] NSH - not always Arab/ASB - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

The NSH was initially open to ALL half arabians. It was later
decided that the 'golden cross' was the Arabian / Saddlebred
Cross.

I own a triple registered mare who was foaled in '82,
she is a registered NSH and is sired by an Arabian and out of
(get this) a Saddlebred / Peruvian Paso bred mare!

Needless to say, although she can make NSH foals, she doesn't
produce the 'typical' NSH so we've not Registered any of her
foals as NSH, just aa Half Arabs.

Riding her is like riding in a Cadillac and she moves very
straight. Her foals have been the same way and her grand
daughter is now enjoying an Endurance career.
