[RC] stifle problem - Alice Yovich

I am having similar issues, so let me know what you learn. My vet has told me the opposite of rest. Work, work, work. She's on paddock turnout with one horse 24/7 and she's hit or miss on soundness. She never acts like she hurts, but is stiff on that side. she's been sore on and off since April.  In my dressage lesson yesterday she worked out of it eventually, but was never 100%. The trainer thinks I need to work her more in dressage, apply bute when possible/necessary and get her to use her back end more to strengthen all those muscles and tendons. I'm very frustrated by her on and off again lameness, but it hasn't kept me from riding yet, though, it may very soon.

I would really appreciate hearing from anyone, especially vets,
with experience with a horse lame due to stifle soreness.
