==========================================

This is just huge! See the article on Endurance net regarding the young woman
from Dubai who rode in the Arabian Nights ride.
"DUBAI - Shaikha Madiya bint Hasher Al Maktoum became the first UAE national
lady to complete an international 160-km endurance ride recently."
This is a big deal, this young woman is not only from the UAE where the local
women don't work and wear the veil, but she is a "Shaika",ie: Royalty. This is
a very good sign for women in the UAE in my opinion. Often the women of the
Royal Families are the ones who set the cultural standards. I say good for her!

I also like the idea of her training with Jan and Grace. Boy will she ever get
exposed to American culture, Illinois style!
