[RC] Horse Height - kc85124

I just had to respond to this height issue. A few years ago I was looking for
an endurance horse prospect. I had ridden NSH's for years and the smallest was
15.3 so didn't even consider anything under 15 to look at. A gal I knew in TX
suggested I look at a gelding she thought would make a good en horse. I like
him but thought he was too small. I rode him and really liked how he moved and
responded but wrote him off as too small. My husband insisted I give him
another try since he picked up my interest in the horse. Rode him again and he
rode like a dream. Ended up buying the horse for much less than I would have
paid for him if he had been taller than 14.3. He is the most fun and best ride
I've had for years. While he isn't real fast he is steady and most important
is easy to rate on a ride and takes care of himself. My stress level goes way
down on rides when I take Dually. Happy Trails, Kathy
