[RC] Hoosier Daddy ride managers.. long - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

I am fairly new to distance riding, having only competed in 3 CTR's to date,
and this is my first reply to Ridecamp (even though I have been reading for
awhile), so I hope I don't offend anyone.

I have to TOTALLY agree with Garner, I have seen the job these folks do, and I
DON'T WANT IT. It is hard, hot, grueling work putting on these rides, and
these folks should be respected and even WORSHIPED for what they do. We all
need to remember that without dedicated volunteers to run these events there
wouldn't BE any rides. I am sure that there are bad RM's out there, but come
on folks, this was their first ride, and from the accounts I have heard, they
did a bang up job. Let's all try to support our RM's, we need THEM a lot more
than they need US.

Respectfully,
Opal Perry
