[RC] off topic, need help for a friend - Chris PausI'm wondering if someone on the list knows of a good trainer/riding instructor near the MO bootheel area. I've got a good friend who lives near Poplar Bluff MO. She is in dire need of some good, sensible coaching. I can't get her to come to Kansas City to work with me, she's afraid to drive and trailer anywhere. She's got some nice horses, but is very much a nervous Nellie about riding. She recently bought a safe and sane been there done that kind of mare to ride, but is having trouble with this horse. I'm sure it's rider error and she agrees, but just doesn't know where to turn for help. I'd appreciate any good leads on someone who could help her. Thanks! Oh, she's not really interested in endurance, just in being able to ride a horse around her pasture without having a panic attack...
