I'm sure someone else will point this out, but those heights
are supplied by the owners/riders.  So, even if there was meaningful
data to extract (and I maintain that height alone is not meaningful),
one would have to measure all the horses officially and not go by
rider/owner supplied numbers.

The vast majority of people do not actually know the height of
their horses.  They may think they do, but until the horse is
measured with a stick and level on a solid surface, it's just a
guesstimate (and some people are awful at that).  

Personally, I tend to consider exact height pretty darn unimportant.
