Re: [RC] Traler emergeny pull cord - Karen Williams

Having just had my truck and trailer go through yearly inspection today, I know
the answer to this one as much to my horror the inspector just yanked out the
pin! The brakes didn't work (this was tested by rolling the truck forward a
bit and hitting the brakes), the battery was replaced, pin was put back in
place and everything was fine (whew). Looked pretty easy to me.........

Does anyone know how to test if your emergency brake pull cord on your
trailer is working. My attachment point is very loose and I was wondering
if it really works or if it needs to be fixed. Hate to find out it
doesn't right when I need it.

Also, once you do pull the cord and lock the brakes, how do you get them
unlocked again?
Thanks,
benedikte
