Thanks to everyone who responded so quickly with so much information.Ridecamp
is great for this kind of problem.Amigo had his vinegar bath, a dose of flax in
his dinner, more spot on drops added & is wearing a sheet till after dark
today. Will call my vet on Monday to discuss the antihistamine shot. The Arab(fat
& shiney as ever)and I went for a long ride where we encountered a huge number
of skeeters along the river. Both the horses have been vaccinated & boostered
for over 2 years with no reaction(Fort Dodge)and a week ago a dead raven tested
positive less than a mile from where we live here in N.Calif.so WNV has
arrived.Fingers crossed all our local horses stay healthy! Thanks again
everyone,pepper,Amigo & Ali
