I forgot to mention that Jeannie said the term for this practice is
'Super Hydration' and i would wonder what else is added in this IV drip.
 Such things as reconstituted Red Blood Cells taken from the horse
previously and put back in before a race like some Olympic Runners do,
and who knows what else in this witches brew. Personally, i'll stay with
hay, grain, forage,  water and training.


Red blood cell "doping" as done in humans is another practice that simply
isn't applicable to horses.  Healthy horses have a HUGE RBC reserve in
their spleens, and when extras are needed, they just dump them into
circulation themselves.
