[RC] Itching and flax or linseed meal - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

I have found that a Kool-Aid scoop of linseed meal (also called flax meal) DOES
have a hypoallergenic effect - I once had a horse overly sensitive to mosquitos
(I'm in Minnesota!). I tried an antihistamine, but after eating it for a few
days she decided I was trying to poison her and refused to eat it anymore.
Everybody likes the linseed meal and it does seem to reduce the amount of
swelling and itching from the bug bites. I've heard it makes the hair shinier,
too, although I'm not sure about that.
