(They really authorized $800????)
I was in shock when they said that.  But I have the bill and it was $700 and was paid by them to the tow truck owner before he even came up the mountain.

My gripe is with the people who service your vehicles.  In the back of my mind I knew that I had to use some type of limited slip additive in the rear end of my truck or I would have problems.  Now if a 62 year old lady knows that, why don't the Dodge dealers know.  Once the additive is put in and you drive it, the clutches come unstuck and the truck is fine.  I just did not want to chance it coming off that mountain or trying to go to the ride and worry the whole weekend.  Of course, who knew that there were clutches in the rear end.

One thing I did forget was that here we are by the side of the road waiting for the truck and I hear a voice ask my boyfriend, Is that Maryben's truck.  Stick my head out and there is Holly Foiles, an endurance rider, who just happened to live there, offering any help that we needed.

About 1/2 hour later a lady stopped and had been coming from work and realized that we had been there a long time and offered to go get us food, drinks, water or anything else we might need.  How cool is that.  And she turned out to be the lady that had not gotten her car fixed because the auto shop was trying to fix my truck......mb
