It's out of style to like our Ortho-Flexes and it really makes people crazy if 
we claim they "fit anything"...but I'll admit,

I have the same experience as Angie. I love the older models, and different 
models fit different shaped horses. I personally like the Caliente for trail 
riding/mountain riding, but the old ones varied in their gullet width, 
depending on when they were made. I have 3 sizes of gullets in the same saddle 
models, and a few different panel width placements also. I don't do Endurance, 
so I did not comment at first. I like the leather flex panel, with short 
rockers, that does not flex too much. These saddles have fit two arabians with 
completely different backs well, and now, many different shaped walking horses. 
I personally like the flex panels for the horse, but I know this is a debatable 
subject. My duaghter and husband have them too, which gives me a good excuse to 
collect a tack room full of Calientes!!
