If I remember correctly, from my youth, when the peace talks started to end the Korean conflict, the Peoples Republic of Korea showed up with a flag for the table slightly bigger/taller than the United States flag. The next day the United States flag was bigger and so on and so forth until the United States delegation decided that they would have to live with the flag of the Peoples Republic of Korea being a smidge taller than ours.
