Re: [RC] [RC] Strongid C / Daily Wormers - rides2far@xxxxxxxxI think she said that she'd seen a number of cases of a type of colic, anterior enteritis I believe (?), that was normally fairly rare, in horses on Strongid C that were also doing endurance. Don't recall the exact term but that sounds right. Seems some horses who were doing quite well in rides would suddenly have a very strange life threatening colic. I think Heidi said she noticed it soon after Strongid C was put on the market. I have since had 2 friends whose horses had very bad colics that seemed uncalled for at rides, both had huge vet bills and both came close to losing horses who had been performing at a level well within their capability when they got sick. On a whim I asked both if they were using Strongid C. Both were. Considering how few people use it that seemed like a *big* coincidence.
