[RC] CV Eli - Judy Houle

I was priveledged to have done bodywork on Eli at both
the Foresthill stop and again right before the BC
judging, and was amazed at how loose his hamstrings
were. Every endurance horse I work on has some kind
of tightness in the hamstrings and gastrocnemius (the
equivilent of our calf muscles) and his didn't even
need to be worked on. His shoulders (trapezius and
pectorals) were the only area that needed work, and
were no worse the next day. I would call that a high
degree of fitness and balance, obviously a horse that
is using himself correctly. Hilorie Bachman, Robert
Ribley and Jeremy are all to be commended on the great
job they did preparing and training this horse.
