And you can win money with these kinds of horses in this kind of events.
It's the years of experience and the skill, not the age that counts.  That
horse will teach somebody how it's supposed to be done.  Worth his weight in
gold.

I have been very interested in the asking prices for working QHs lately.
Ads in our local livestock auction yard flyer show (example) a 15-17 year
old QH, expert team penning, roping, etc. for something like $10,000.
Lots
of money for an older horse!
