[RC] saddles again - Ed Kilpatrickhi bob, i use wintec saddles and the bighorn endurance saddle on my gaited horses.(paso finos) the bighorn endurance model is similar to the abetta both in design and price. i wore on bighorn saddle completely out, and just got a new one. it fits very well on a variety of different horses. the bighorn has the centerfire rigging also, which places the girth a bit farther back than conventional western saddles.
i use the wintec 500 all purpose, and have had great success with it on the gaited horses as well. if i were you, i would find a friend who has a wintec, abetta or bighorn and try it on your mule to see if you like it. ed
