I use the same type, elasticized waffle neoprene Wintec girth.  It really solved my horse's girth-rubbing problems.  Also, I moved the girth to the rear two billets instead of the front two.

I tried every girth known and the only thing that worked was the Wintec elastic girth that looks waffled...........mb
