[RC] Help & suggestions please - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

I can't seem to stop my mare from getting sore in the girth area. I've tried
fleece, neoprine, and mohair string girths. She's a very round barreled mare
with a small girth area. I use a crupper to help stablize my saddle. I
occassionally will get an actual gall, but more often she's just very sore
after a long ride. The girth isn't too tight and it's not so loose as to let
it slide back & forth. Sometimes this mare even chafes under her armpits.
She's a fun to ride, tough mare and I'd hate to stop riding just because I
can't keep her from getting sore. TIA,
Dianna & Wraini
