Re: [RC] Garmin Forerunner 201 - Kristen A. Fisher

I got mine from Amazon in about a week for $124.  However, I have not been
able to even get it to track ONE satellite yet.  Have left it in the open
outside for 30 mins - 3 hours 3 times so far. Nothing.  Anyone else had this
problem?  Are the satellites boycotting TX??

Just in case anyone is thinking of ordering the Garmin Forerunner 201 that
was mentioned on ridecamp last December.  I checked around fro price and
availability and ordered one from Adventure GPS yesterday a little after

noon.  Paid

$134. + $10. for third day shipping.  Imagine my surprise when I got home

at

11:30 AM today and it was waiting for me in a fed Ex. box.  It shipped

from

Alabama to Washington state in less than 24 hours!   This company also had

about

the best price I was able to find, and had them in stock.
