[RC] bit question-catfish - Ed Kilpatrick

hey catfish,  i would go back to basics with this horse.   use a dee ring snaffle, so that you can do one rein stops which is the most effective means i have found for speed selection and overall control.  initially it will seem repititious and boring, but if you really want a good gear shift and set of brakes on this horse, it is the way to go.  the one rein stops and flexing excercises will get rid of that stiff neck and the "i'm gonna go as fast as i want" attitude.        ed
