Well - I  bought a gorgeous Welsh cob filly sight unseen - very well known
and ethical breeder, and the filly was everything she should have been,
actually, more than she could have been!

Also talked with someone who was selling a nice Arab gelding on
endurance.net classifieds and got a phoney Nigerian "cashiers  check".  So I
guess the lesson is to know who you are doing business with.
