[RC] Round Pen - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

There's a lot more to "round penning" than meets the eye and attempting to
accomplish any real training from this method takes becoming educated in
language of horses.By subtle movements of your body you can move & direct even
totally untrained horses but you need to know what you're doing first.There are
several different styles of round penning and lots of trainers out there so I
suggest you find some one who's had some training to teach you or there are
videos(Chris Irwin has some really good ones).I always started my babies with
lunging on a line & voice commands but now (after being taught to round pen) I
use it as well and really enjoy the freedom of "dancing" with my horses in a
round pen & they seem to enjoy it as well.If the horse is truely responding to
you walking is no more difficult for them than any other gait.They take their
cues from you.You just need to learn how to speak to them.
