[RC] Tevis trail accident - rides2far

For some reason, Tevis draws more than its share of people who can't
seem to figure out how to manage their horses in a crowd,

How often do any horses see that sort of crowd? I've heard people out
there talk about limiting entries, requiring a certain level of
qualifying, or having some sort of gradual time release start in the
past. Is there a snowball's chance in Hades anybody will ever break
tradition?

I'm honestly amazed that somehow the horse always seems to get the bad
end of these accidents. You'd think more riders would be just as badly
injured or killed. My horse always comes out better than me in our falls.
Bet it'll hit the fan if a junior rolls off one day.

Angie (proud that round here you can't tumble 10' down a mountain without
hitting a tree)
