It will take me awhile to get them all up, and then to get them captioned. Here is the link and there are some photos already up:

We had a really great time this week, got to visit with old friends and made a lot of new ones. It is really fun to be surrounded by so many people that are similar to you. You know, the kind that are willing to work so hard and put out so much effort and energy to do something so challenging that only gives you personal rewards that none of the rest of the world understands? I was glad to get to spend the time I did with the group and really wish I did not have to come home to the "real world".

I have got photos of lots of people, and of the trail and country. Oh wow,
it was like YESTERDAY when I was riding up some of the same trails in
reverse of '01. Neat feeling. Tho kind of sad knowing that the
opportunity to do this kind of thing is shrinking away. We are so lucky to
get to do this.

Here are some photos that Jonni Jewel has taken: http://www.pbase.com/photobyjonni/xp2004

There are several riders who are writing journals and will hopefully be getting them online soon, or else at the end of the trip. They definitely have some exciting stories to tell. :-)

None of the days I rode were 50 miles or less. They were all over. 51.6, etc., some more. Don and Geronimo did indeed make all 5 days the first week. They were the only horse rider team the first week to make all 5 days together. That put Geronimo at over 10,000 miles. Don said that this was definitely the hardest endurance ride that he'd ever done. Nobody made all five days on the same horse the second week. The only rider that I know of that has ridden all 10 days so far is Dave Rabe.

Oh and yes, when I got there last weekend before the start of week two things had already deteriorated to the point that they were eating the cricketts. Actually, they boiled them first and dipped them in chocolate. lol
